How we show up
At Gathering Friends to Give, support doesn't look like a form letter, a waiting room, or a donation bin. Think of it more of a curated boutique, filled with the things you actually need.
A stylish, like-new professional look for an interview. An introduction to a hand-picked wellness professional, mentor, or financial advisor. A scholarship for college freshmen to cover books, room, and board.
Each of our programs are built around the same belief: women in moments of change deserve high-quality, hands-on care.

The Closet
A gifted, curated "shopping" experience.
The Closet is our flagship offering: a thoughtfully designed, boutique-style event where women can "shop" for free. Think: like-new clothing, wellness essentials, personal care items, gift cards, and curated resources, all donated by our community of women and local partners.
No vouchers. No qualifying paperwork.
Just an elevated experience built around what you actually need to step into your next chapter feeling like the best version of yourself.

The Care Collective
Concierge-matched care by women, for women.
The Care Collective is a curated network of professionals -- including wellness professionals, mentors, aestheticians, stylists, trainers, recruiters, financial advisors, and more — who've offered up their time and expertise pro bono to the women we serve.
This isn't a directory. We do the matching ourselves, by hand, so the experience feels less like asking for a favor and more like being introduced to exactly the right person at exactly the right time.
We ask that all of our Care Collective members set clear boundaries and guidelines around their capacity to avoid overwhelm!
What it can look like:

Maternal care (doulas, lactation, postpartum support)
Career coaching, recruiting, and professional development
Wellness, styling, and lifestyle support
The Ashley Johnson Scholarship
Sending college freshmen into their journey with an extra boost!
The Ashley Johnson Scholarship Fund supports young women stepping into college and the next chapter of their lives. Recipients receive a meaningful monetary award (currently ~$5,000) that can be used flexibly for books, dorm essentials, meals, whatever it takes to start strong.
We select based on heart, story, and potential… not just GPA.
Applications include a short essay, and recipients become part of the GF2G village long after the check clears
